CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC STATEMENT
Due to government advice regarding Coronavirus disease (COVID-19)
Mary Seacole House has suspended all group activities, training days and face to face contact. Our offices will be closed until further notice.
We want to reassure you that the welfare of our staff and service user’s is of the utmost importance to us and the staff team are continuing with their vital work offering support over the phone and via email from the safety of their own homes. We understand that this will be a difficult time for us all and especially those already experiencing severe mental illnesses. We’re trying to alleviate anxiety and stress for our most vulnerable service user’s ensuring that their mental health does not suffer any further by keeping in contact with them regularly and advising them to follow the latest government guidance.
Many of our service users rely on our group activities as the only contact they will have with others, sadly they will be isolated and lonely over the next couple of weeks, as a result of this their mental health could suffer. We are hoping that we can lessen this by continuing our vital support working alongside other agencies and keeping up to date with the latest assistance available within our amazing communities via social media and email so please do keep in touch!!
Our main telephone line 0151 707 0319 is being manned 9.00-4.00pm Monday-Friday. Although we can only pass messages on through this line, all service users will have the contact numbers for their keyworker’s mobiles. If you would like to request a member of staffs direct number or email or you have any general enquiries, please email our Operations Manager – Reihana Bashir on: firstname.lastname@example.org 💚
Stay safe everyone… stay at home 🙏🏾
